I first came to Undugu while finalizing my divorce. I was angry, depressed and lonely. Undugu provided me a judgement free space to say what I was really feeling. For that I am thankful!
The place I can be me while the rest of the world needs me to be something else.
A safer place than most. Brotherhood in practice. An opportunity to hear and gain wisdom as well as share it. A place God used to help me find myself again after a lifetime of bullshit. Thank you for being obedient and starting it.
A place where I can be vulnerable and not be judged. A place where I get the support for whatever situation I am a going through.
Everything I have been missing & eagerly seeking. It has given me an opportunity to speak out loud what I would usually just write in my journal. It has enhanced my language of emotional expression & intelligence. It has given me the tools to better parent my inner child. Lastly, it has given me a space that encourages me to become me.
The list is too long to state here. It has shown me how to be a better husband. Created a confidence in my manhood that I was in search of for a long time. Definitely been a place of real accountability.It’s a lifeline for my masculinity.
Undugu is the first place where I can come speak my peace and not be afraid or regret that i have said how I felt about a situation.
